Hi, it’s Debbie Jones from the Ideal Method, just coming to you bringing another video on how to deal with stress. And today, what we’re going to talk about is the adrenals.
Understanding the Adrenals & Their Role in Stress Response
The adrenals are just a small little gland that sits on top of the kidneys, and what they do is they release hormones in our body, specifically cortisol and adrenaline, when we’re under stress. And this is a natural function in our body. It actually helps us to deal with stress. But what happens is, if we’re under prolonged stress, a lot of those hormones that are kind of automatically being pumped into our body, they start to overwhelm the body. And we might feel, if you’re overwhelmed with some of those hormones, you might feel very uneducated at night.
Energy Healing Exercise: Supporting the Adrenals
So, what we’re gonna do is, we’re gonna talk to the adrenals today, and we’re just gonna let them know that everything is okay. We want to bring some balance, some harmony, some peace to that system to help relax the stress response system. Again, we’re always talking about that stress response system and how we can just bring balance back into our lives.
So, what we’re gonna do, how to do is very simple. So, we’re gonna come in and find our belly button. Shouldn’t be that hard. You’re gonna take your belly button, you’re gonna take your fingers, you’re gonna go out one inch, and you’re gonna come up one inch. Okay, so this is where we’re going to talk to the adrenals, and there’s two more points on our back that we’re going to address as well.
So, what I want you to do here is just relax your abdomen muscles, and we’re gonna start making little circles. You could pulse a little bit, but the reason why I want you to relax your abdomen muscles is because if you don’t, we’re going to be tapping into the muscles and not tapping into the adrenals and into their energy. So, just relax those abdomen muscles for me and just press in until you feel a little bit of resistance. They might even be a little bit sore, and just start doing little circles.
Sending Healing Energy to the Adrenals
And as you’re doing the little circles, just increase the pressure and increase the pressure. And for me, the right one is a little bit more tender, so that just means it needs some love. And as I’m doing this, my intention is just sending gratitude to that system because it’s doing exactly what it was designed to do, which is to help us through stress. But again, when we’re under prolonged stress, it doesn’t know when to kind of take a nap. So, we’re gonna help it. Okay? We’re just going to massage those points. We’re going to come in, buzz those points a little bit, pulse those points a little bit. Perfect.
Now, we’re going to address the points on the back. So, we’re gonna go all the way to the back, okay, and you’re gonna come in from the belly button, and you’re gonna find the points that are directly behind them on the back. And same thing, we just want to gently do little circles. You can pulse, and you might find one that is a little bit tender on the back as well, but you are talking directly to the adrenals and bringing balance and harmony and restoring energy to them.
Supporting Energy Healing for Adrenal Fatigue
Because if they’re a little bit tired, sometimes we hear the words “adrenal fatigue.” So, we’re just bringing energy into those systems, and that is an easy way for you to tap into your energetic system, tap into that stress response, and give it some love and gratitude, and just tell it that it can just rest for a little bit. And that’s it for today. Really easy.
