Hi, it’s Debbie Jones from The Ideal Method, and today what I would like to share with you is a wonderful exercise called “Sunrise Sunset.” And this particular exercise is going to be impacting several different systems in the body.
Energy Healing for Heart Health & Blood Pressure
The first is that it’s going to be impacting and bringing stability and harmony into our heart and our heart health, particularly when we talk about blood pressure. So under times of stress, many of us react, and our bodies react by elevating our blood pressure, and we don’t really want it to stay in an elevated status. For me, in particular, I have low blood pressure, so anytime that I can bring strength and stability and harmony into my heart and benefit my heart health, this is a really good thing.
Reducing Stress & Restoring Energy Balance
The next thing that this exercise is going to help with is bringing a sense of calm to the mind and the body. So it’s helping us just to release any emotions that are no longer serving us, helping us to release stress that’s in our body. Again, anytime that we can release stress from our body brings harmony into our energetic systems, which then support our physical bodies.
Supporting Hormonal Balance with Energy Medicine
And the third thing that this exercise is going to do is it’s going to bring harmony into our hormones. So we have talked in previous videos about hormone health, and when we’re under stress, there can be an excess of hormones running through our body, and we want to bring harmony into that system, bring balance into that system. But not only when we’re under stress—there are certain times throughout our lifetimes where hormones become an issue, where we’re really concerned about making sure that our hormones are staying in a place of balance. So this exercise is going to help us with not only our hormones, our heart health, but also bringing a sense of calm over the mind and body.
Exercise for Energy Healing
So let me show you what it is. First thing is you want to bring your hands coming down onto your legs, and we are going to lift them up almost as if your palms up, almost as if you’re ding the sunrise up. You’re going to bring your hands up over your head, and then we’re going to stretch as if we’re reaching for a rope. You can’t see the top of my hands, but we’re reaching for a rope and pulling that rope down. Reach, reach, and then we’re going to bring our hands back down as we’re helping the sunset. So we’re going to go through that now. So we’re going to bring our hands right down on the sides of our legs and take a deep breath in, and we’re going to bring their hands up as if we’re helping the sunrise come up over your head. And then you’re going to reach and pull, reach and pull, reach and pull, reach, reach, and then bring your hands down and exhale. And you can almost feel that tension and stress just being released from the entire body.
