Understanding Stress & Energy Imbalance
We live in some crazy times right now, and each and every day, it seems like there’s a new press release, some new information out there, some new guidelines that have been given to us to help us stay safe. Sometimes, those guidelines and those messages might cause a little sense of insecurity or stress or overwhelm. And I know for me, sometimes it feels as if my world is getting a little bit smaller rather than bigger.
So what we want to do is we want to talk to that system, and we’re going to give it its name. And I think I’ve mentioned it in other videos, but its name is the Triple Warmer. The Triple Warmer has various responsibilities in the body—one of them is to keep us safe.
Bringing Triple Warmer Back Into Balance
And with anything in balance in our body, it can be a balanced system, or it can be an unbalanced system. And when Triple Warmer becomes unbalanced, that’s when we start to feel those feelings of insecurity or overwhelm or difficulty relaxing—difficulty sleeping at times. And what we want to do is bring that system into balance.
And when that system is in balance, it’s amazing because it helps us feel safe and secure. It gives us the ability to really handle life’s demands, and there’s a lot of them on us right now. It also releases a sense of joy. So I would rather live in a balanced world than an unbalanced world with Triple Warmer.
Over the next couple of videos, we’re going to give you really easy exercises on how to do that—how to bring it back into balance.
Energy Healing Technique: Neurovascular Reflex Points
Today, what we’re going to do is we’re going to work directly with the neurovascular reflex points—fancy name, super simple, okay?
So what we’re going to do is we’re going to take our three fingers—our thumb, our pointer finger here, and our middle finger—and we’re gonna make what’s called a three-finger knot. And we’re gonna bring that right into that soft little part, that little triangle right in between our collarbones.
Then we’re going to take our other hand, and we’re just gonna lay it on our temple. So our fingers are on our temple, our palm of our hand is just gently coming over on our cheek. And we’re just going to take a couple of deep breaths.
And what we’re doing is we’re rebalancing the energy in Triple Warmer. And as that balance comes into that system, we’re releasing stress and tension, bringing in that joy.
And after a couple of deep breaths, you’re just gonna repeat on the other side—we always want to do things equally.
I can even feel that tension being released.
And you can do this exercise as many times as you need to during the day. And if this one doesn’t feel quite right for you, don’t do it.
Listening to Your Body’s Energy Needs
There are many, many exercises that we’re going to be sharing. And I always want to point out to you that if something you’re doing starts to irritate the body, stop doing it. But if you can hold in there for a couple of deep breaths, maybe it might release that tension for you.
And that’s it—really easy, really simple. We want to bring balance back into that Triple Warmer.
